When Severa, Owain and Iñigo went to see Anankos, Yarne saw them and follow them. Consequently, he was sent to Nohr with them but was lost on the Impassible Peak where he met Keaton. Soon, the two beasts fell in love and wanted to raise a family together. But, as two males, they could not bare a child. They went to see Nyx, the black witch, known to have used forbidden magic and asked her to help them, which she accepted with joy.
